Elizabethan look

When planning to define an outstanding party wear collections on women's line for this fall, I just came up with the idea of bringing the looks based on Queen Elizabeth I after being inspired by the movie "The Golden Age". The looks, details and silhouette are very much Elizabethan. The fine detailing and elegance in looks are sure to fit the modern Queen rocking by the street with blazing blacks and choose to grace the show with deep colours.  Here i have developed some 15 styles which can be mixed and match to get the Elizabethan look .In the above illustrations possible looks have been developed. These party wear collection are sure to fit your evening dressing closet.

Don't be a troglodyte, come out of those boring salwars

I happened to meet a graduate  from the 'Coimbatore Medical College' and I was asked to design some lingeries for her. While talking to her I was able to notice her sensibility  in dressing and her longing to cling to those fabulous body wears. But saddest part here in coimbatore is, most girls are not able to show of their desire for such fashionable gears. The reason behind this is there are no occasions and  happening spots in the city of coimbatore. There are some youths looking forward for such happening spots in the city and this can be one of the reasons why fellow graduates migrate to metro cities. There is no  fashion culture developing in the place and majority of them are being ignorant on lifestyle of those people in the metros . There are many girls who wants to stick on to their  closet collections but fail to show off their fancy  because of the attitude of the people around them. I feel this should change. Why should anyone hide their desire for something for someone. Why should you wait for an opportunity? Girls! Just grab on some fashionable outfits really smart and outrageous to drive guys crazy. Pick you style and start to exhibit. There are more to stack your closet apart from those boring salwars.

It is true from my observation that majority of Coimbatorian's  do not follow appropriate dressing or any sort of culture in fashion and Art(music and dance). Are they really troglodytes?. I feel they should be educated on this. They can't differentiate a day dressing and an evening dressing. They just grab and put on what they get in hand.

Hope the upcoming malls in the city will bring a drastic change in lifestyle of people!!.

Hitler and Art

How many of us know Hitler as a lover of art rather than a dictator? There is no media that emphasises Hitler as a cartoonist. Hitler has done political cartoons for an army newsparer in his time. Germany is a birthplace of ‘expressionism’  in paintings and sculptures. Hitler saw Greek and Roman art uncontaminated by Jewish influence. During his time we can see various movements on art like Cubism,Dada art, Surrealism ,Symbolism, Post-impressionism and Fauvism.By looking at this picture one can realize the importance given to art in his time which also shows his power as a dictator.

So the love for art should never perish.

Can you create anything like this ?

I was running throught these work on M.C.Escher,Dutch graphic artist. I was amazed by his creations and was wonderring whether anyone can devise a work like this!!. There wear also numerous artists during the period of renaissance gifted with such a creative mind. But when we look at today’s world, people are running behind Science and Technology. Everyone is ambitious to excel in the field of science and technology. There is none who claims to become an artist like Leonardo DaVinci or like Michelangelo. People fail to realize the significance of Art and its impact on us. There is a book written by Ayn Rand,”The Romantic Manifesto”, in which the author throws light on the psychological feeling created by art and its purpose in human life. She also proclaims art as an universal language. Even I personally feel that the colours, lines and design creates some kind of vibrations within us which we all fail to undersatnd. The mood of a person is very evident by the colour that he/she choose.

I happened to speak to an artist from Kumbagonam some months back. The reason he was giving as why the importance on art is fading was people today see everything around them and they don’t see any thing new in art.But in music, when a new tunes are  composed it tend to attract the crowd because they are hearing it for the 1st time and after some days they are bored by those tunes an look for the next composition. In the field of  art, there came nothin revolutionary in modern times which clearly shows the lack of importance given to it. The reason for me write on this topic is to create awareness about the importance of art in our life. There are n number of artist today  without jobs and struggling to live and some change their jobs just to survive. Such artists should be encouraged and their skills should be utilised properly.

With the development of technology its possible for any one and everyone to draw easily on computers, but these can never be compared to the intensity created with the help of brushes and colours. I feel people gifted with such a facinating mind shoud be renumerated dearly, espicially in india.

Finally, I just want to wind up saying that the such facinating works by artists should be preserved and there should be great understanding on the nature of art.

Will The World End In Dec 21st 2012 ?

We all are aware of the rumour spreading wide on this topic,Doomsday 2012.I read this book called "All About Astrology" by Joanna Martine Woolfolk , in which the author speaks about the changes brought in modern astrology and also an easy way of predicting ones characteristic using a personalised 'Natal chart'. In the end of this book the author had portrayed some mythologies on various sun signs and the time period of each astrological signs. After reading the book, i was interpreting some facts on Mayan, Mesoamericans since 2,600 B.C.

As per the Mayan calendar, the age of Aquarius starts after 21st Dec 2012. Their time calculations are very perfect. So according to their prediction its only the time that ends not the world. Just because there is going to be pole shift on that day its not the end of the world itself. Also that many books on Mayans got burnt when Spanish ransacked their lands. So no one knows what  will happens after Dec 2012.

In the documentary movie "The Man Who Saw Tomorrow" all about Nostradamus, the end of the world is predicted by him to be in 3,797. His predictions on world war 1 and world war 2 came very true. So according to his foreseeing the world does not end in 2012.

When we all heard about this Doomsday, we failed to look upon some theories on Hinduism. According to Hinduism there are four yugas namely Satya yuga, Treta yuga, Dvapara yuga and Kali yuga. There is always a cycle from one yuga's to another like we see in sun signs from Aquarius to Pisces. According to Hinduism there is no specific period mentioned about the end of Kali yuga.

So considering all the above facts, the world does not end on 21st Dec 2012 exactly, but it is the end of the time. Thus after the pole-shift on 21st Dec 2012,modern astrologers may formulate a new calendar pertaining to the positions of the planets which will have some influence in the life on earth again.

Is "Dope" a Political threat or Fashion Forward!

'Dope' hits the fashion floor on its stunning launch made by the famous personalities of the film industry, Surya and Karthi on 19th Nov at Thirugnanasambandam road in Race course,Coimbatore.

I happened to have the glimpse of this poster by the road side and was thinking, 'Looks like some sort of Political issue going around the city!!'.Is the launch of the dope fashion going to revolutionise the city culture in its way or just going to be the usual graphic -tees? I feel the poster art can be portrayed pertaining to dopers lifestyle or dramatising the  theme of the store . Looks like this famous personality is a part of communism .

Speaking on dopes ensembles ,this new launch has laid some impeccable collectives comprising  graphic tee's and classic shirts for boys and girls . In its 1st launch the 'Dope' has forayed the ability of the creator to bring out such stupendous  work of art portraying the environment around a doper .
